Men Are From...

That's right, I finally did it, I got my hands on a high end foundation (courtesy of my good friend Ashlie) and I'm in love. It's the one and only NARS Sheer Matte Foundation in Siberia incase you were wondering, which retails at £30.50

The shade match for my skin is impeccable - it seriously does apply like a second skin. It applies best with the fingers, which I'm a massive fan of, and is incredibly buildable. You can honestly get a light coverage with this, if you're lucky enough to only need that sort, and you can layer it on right up to a heavy coverage.

The only problem I find I have with this is it sticking to my occasional patch of dry skin, but I've never used a foundation that doesn't. Thankfully my problem dry T-Zone area is easily sorted with some light exfoliating and it applies like nothing I've ever tried before. Is it worth the price tag? At this early stage it's hard to say, I'm not wise to how long it will take me to get through the bottle, but I'll certainly be getting back to you.

I'm seriously considering expanding and trying more high end foundations. I have my eye on the NARS Sheer Glow and I've heard very good things about Laura Mercier, so if you have any recommendations I'm ready with pen and paper to note them all down!

  1. I wanna get this foundation sooooo badly, but we don't have Nars in Hungary and shipping would make it even more expensive..:/ My recommendation is definitely the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation with an incredibly natural finish and high coverage :) xoxo

    1. That is a bit of a pain!

I do want to try the Estée Lauder one, heard so many wonderful things about it! The Giorgio Armani one is supposed to be fantastic too.

      xo
