NEW: L'Oreal Skin Perfection Cleansing Oil

L'Oreal recently released a new range, Skin Perfection, which I have been eyeing up for a long time, unable to decide what I'd like to try out first. As I have spent years trying to find the holy grail of all makeup removers, the 15 Second Miracle Cleansing Oil seemed like a good place to start. This promises to remove all traces of makeup, including waterproof eye makeup. Big talk, huh?

I immediately tried this out on my most stubborn mascara and surprisingly it worked! I applied a pump to my finger and massaged it in right over my eyes, and although I slightly resembled a panda it really did the job. The dissolved mascara wiped off my face instantly with a splash of warm water so the fact that I had it all over my face was hardly an issue. I then applied another pump and massaged it into the rest of my face and rinsed once more.

The formula is also one to be praised. It's a light, transparent oil, which I feared would be very greasy and sticky on my skin for a while after washing, just like Johnson's Baby Oil. Again, I was proved totally wrong. My skin was left feeling soft and refreshed, and unlike other cleansers it did not leave my skin tight.

I'll probably post another review when I've used this product for a while longer as it has only just been rotated into my skincare routine but I can see this sticking around for a long time. Have you tried anything from the Skin Perfection range yet?

  2. Nope I've never tried anything. I need to try this though because my skin always feels super dry after I use a towelette or cleanser. Thanks for the review!
