WOMF #3 | Autumnal Look

Happy Saturday! It's been a slow morning but I'm just about ready and thought I'd share with you what I'm currently wearing on my face. I've been trying really hard to use up products, especially ones that I've sort of just put aside with it being colder.

After cleansing and moisturising I applied a firming serum on my face and neck. I suffer horrendously with try skin around my nose, eyes and forehead so this step is sort of crucial, otherwise my foundation just crusts up around the centre, not pretty.

BASE | Bourjois Bronzing Primer £9.99, Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in Light Vanilla £10.99, MUA Matte Perfect Translucent Face Powder £2.50, NARS Creamy Concealer in Chantilly £21 (not photographed.. oops)

I've pulled out the bronzing primer again as it is on it's last legs and it would be a shame for this product to go to waste with it being Autumn now. I just use the tiniest amount under my cheek bones and upwards towards my temple and forehead and it just gives a really natural looking bronze. As you can see I'm the palest thing since Casper and it doesn't look muddy or cakey on my face so it's perfect for you English Roses out there.

CHEEKS | Anna Sui Blusher*

This was actually gifted to me by Dave Lackie and I haven't yet found out the actual shade or price online so bear with me for that! This isn't the sort of colour I usually go for, it is a little more on the orange side than I'm used to wearing but applied very lightly I think I've made it work.

EYES | MUA heaven & earth pallet £4, Anna Sui Perfect Mascara*, Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen £6

I use shades from the Heaven & Earth pallet both on my eyelid (I used an olive brown and a gorgeous gold shade for this) and to fill in my relatively sparse eyebrows. I like to have quite a thick eyebrow to really define my eye area as I find it to be my best feature.

LIPS | Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Lipbalm £1.69, MAC Lipstick in Dangerous £15

The MAC colour on my lips is actually from the new retro matte range, but for the daytime I wanted to go for a more subtle look. I did this by coating my lips in balm to create a smoother surface and then simply blotted the colour on. I think it gives a really pretty finish and doesn't look OTT with the eyemakeup.

I really hope you enjoyed this slightly more in-depth What's On My Face post, I'll probably do more like this and keep them to a select theme. If there are any particular looks you'd like me to do, perhaps a 'date night' look or others, please tweet me or leave a comment and let me know!

As of November 9th 2013 all items marked with an asterisk (*)
have been gifted to me by others, for PR purposes or otherwise.

Don't forget I also have a Facebook account where I'll be holding an EXCLUSIVE giveaway after Christmas!
