REVIEW | Olay Firm & Lift Day Cream + Serum

Hello everyone! Unfortunately it is Sunday which also means it's Monday tomorrow, but I'm sure you're all looking forward to a fresh week, right? In today's post I'll be sharing with you a new found love in the form of Olay Firm & Lift Day Cream + Serum, a product I discovered on my mum's dressing table, what a woman

You may be thinking I'm a little young to be contemplating any sort of anti-wrinkle product and perhaps you're right. On the flip side, I'd rather be prepared and have firm, supple skin than have a horrendous turkey neck in 30 years time! It's important to remember that products like this are meant for preventing wrinkles, not getting rid of them once they're already there.

I've been using this after cleansing for a quick morning fix, using around a pump and a half and working into my skin in an upwards motion. It also works incredibly well at priming the face ready for makeup which I love! Can't go wrong with a multi purpose product!

As well as it's moisturising properties, I've also noticed some brilliant changes in my skin. I'm prone to acne and my skin can get incredibly oily so I'm always concious of moisturisers as a lot of them don't work very well with my skin. However, in the last couple of weeks my blemishes seem to have been clearing incredibly well! Whether it's this serum or just a natural healing process I'm really pleased with this.

Using this products has convinced me to buy a bottle of my own. I always think it's risky investing in things like this as they aren't designed specifically for skin as young as my own, but knowing it works I have absolutely no fear in doing so. Do any of you use anti-wrinkle products too?

  1. Do you think this will be good for scarring?

    1. I do have some acne scarring and it does seem to minimise the appearance of them, sort of gives the whole soft focus look to the face if you know what I mean? It's a little too soon to tell if this helps the scars to actually fade though.
