Wishlistin'

It's not unknown that I'm a bit of a spender, and money really does burn a hole in my pocket whenever I have it, so I've decided to (attempt) to take matters into my own hands by keeping a list of everything indulgent I want to buy - and I mean everything. 

Between now and this time in 2014 I plan on keeping this list, adding on new things as they tickle my fancy and ticking off things I finally got round to purchasing. This way, when I'm out on a shop I can try to stop myself from making random splurges and stick only to allocated items - say perhaps I finally decide to buy that MAC shade I've been pining over or the latest Real Techniques brush set. 

As you can see I also have the "What Did I Buy Today?" journal which I spotted on away with the fairies blog which I really want to get for next year when I venture off to University. It helps you plan your income, outgoings and little weekly tips to help you save. It's available on Amazon for £7.99. I'm tempted to purchase this right now but I feel it'll be a waste as I don't have any real monthly outgoing expenditure! For now, this little beauty will do. 

Fingers crossed this works for me, especially as I'll be starting work full time come next month (and not on a temporary contract like I'm used to!) and actually want to save a little before I venture off to University! Do you have any helpful money saving tips for a spendaholic like me?
