The Starting Off Project: Introductory Post

I'm absolutely delighted to inform all of you that I will be taking part in Stephanie Ann's Starting Off Project. Essentially there are 10 weeks and 10 different makeup items or essentials to cover, and those involved will create a post describing how they use each makeup item. The aim is to help all those just starting off in beauty and makeup, providing helpful hints and tips.

I've decided personally to try to use mainly high street products to make it easier or less daunting for youngesters or newbies who may not have the cash to splash on high end products.

You can read all about the ideas for the Starting Off Project by following this link.

The weeks are as follows:

Week One: Skincare Week Two: Concealer Week Three: Foundation Week Four: Bronzer Week Five: Blusher Week Six: Mascara Week Seven: Eyeliner Week Eight: Eyeshadow Week Nine: Lips Week Ten: Tools

The SO Project kicks off finally on Tuesday 27th August. Each week is optional but I'm going to try my very best to complete every single one! I honestly praise Steph for coming up with such a fantastic and helpful idea, I'm so happy to be a part of this.

Why not have a read of some other posts?

  3. Hi Victoria, the starting off project sounds brilliant! It's such a good idea as I know most people probably don't think there is much to makeup but in the beginning it can be really hard to know how to do things properly.

I've had to learn so many things the hard way so I think it's fantastic that this project will be there to help guide people through there makeup journey.

I'm sure it will still be valuable for people who have been using makeup for a long time too. I look forward to following these posts and seeing what new things I can learn along the way :-)

    1. I'm really pleased to be involved in it! I'm still learning how to use makeup - there is a heck of a lot more to it than I'm sure most people realise!
